2021 Pet Blessing
Saturday, Oct. 2, Mother Kathy is offering pet blessings at Emmanuel from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and at St. Andrew’s from 1 to 1:30 p.m. She’ll be out in the parking lot for you to do a drive up or stand-next-to-your-car blessing of all your furry, feathered or scaled friends. Please be sure your animal buds are secured in a carrier or on a leash. If you’d prefer, you’re welcome to bring a photo instead.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Tillie Kaufmann from Emmanuel would like to reminder everyone of the upcoming Shenandoah County Relay for Life event on Sept. 10 at the County Park in Maurertown from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Teams are wearing crazy hats this year and the schedule of events includes Opening Ceremony at 6 p.m., Survivor/Caregiver Walk at 6:30 p.m., Luminaria Ceremony at 9 p.m., along with music and food.
