Pet Blessing

Saturday, October 1, you’re furry, feathered and scaled family members are invited to receive a pet blessing from Mother Kathy. She is going to be at Emmanuel at 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and St. Andrew’s at 1-1:30 p.m. in the parking lots. Please be sure your pets are securely leashed or in a carrier, as appropriate to their species. You’re also welcome to bring a photo instead.

Item Collection for Response

ITEM COLLECTION FOR RESPONSE The ladies of St. Andrew’s Guild are collecting personal care items to put together Wonderful Women’s Comfort bags (WWC bags) for women receiving support from Response due to domestic violence. Boxes are out in each parish hall to collect travel size toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, tissues, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm and soap. Monetary donations are also appreciated. Checks can be made out to St. Andrew’s Guild, with a note that it’s for WWC, and mailed to…

COVID UPDATE A number of people in the parish, including Mother Kathy, have been diagnosed with COVID in the last couple weeks. Given the highly contagious new variants, folks are encouraged to wear masks during all church services and activities when others are present.  EMMANUEL’S TABLE FOOD PANTRY We are still actively searching for adult volunteers for the following tasks: 1.
