CONSECRATION OF NEW BISHOP
We do not know what the ticketing procedures are for the Saturday, December 3, 11 a.m., consecration of the new bishop taking place in Richmond. We’re taking a survey to gauge the parish’s interest level in attending the consecration and if folks would like to go together via motorcoach with our region so that we can determine what we’ll be able to arrange as a parish and region. Please complete the short survey by Sunday, September 18. More info about the consecration can be found on the Diocese website. If you have questions, please speak with Mother Kathy.

FORMAL REAFFIRMATION OF BAPTISMAL VOWS
If you would like to formally reaffirm your baptismal vows during Bishop Goff’s visit on Sunday, October 16, please speak with Mother Kathy by September 30.

2022 PARISH MUSIC SURVEY
What makes good worship music? The answer to that question varies greatly for us as individuals. As part of community that comes together for worship what speak to your soul, and that of the community?

We hope you will take the time to complete this survey, which we hope will guide us as we make decisions for shaping the musical offerings in Beckford Parish. Everyone’s input is welcomed and valued. You can take the survey online or if you prefer you can download it HERE to print then mail back to Emmanuel at 122 E. Court, St., Woodstock, VA 22664. The survey does not collect your email address or info, so it is entirely anonymous unless you elect to share your name.

We’re asking for all surveys to be completed by October 1.

Our program will be led by COURAGEOUS CONVERSATION®, a talented and award-winning team of racial justice experts who will help us to develop practical skills to sustain and deepen our conversations on racial justice and healing. PRAYER LIST
One of the greatest gifts we have to offer each other as a parish family is our prayers for ourselves, our families and our loved ones. You’re invited to sit with your parish directory and each day, lift up a section or page of names a day. Let’s continuously hold each other in prayer. Let us pray: God of grace and comfort, enfold our parish-members, family and friends with your mercy. Strengthen each one with a shield of faith and enable them to accept what is to come, heal them and bear their pain, keep them in peace, and fix their hearts on you through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Our prayer list can be found HERE on our website. If you have folks you’d like added to the prayer list, please email their names to email Melissa.
