ENDING MONDAY: 2021 GIVING TREE
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
We’re undertaking a special project for the Giving Tree this year by supporting W.W. Robinson Elementary programs that aren’t widely advertised and are in need of support. We’re providing snacks and clothing items to kids in need at the school.
To join in this effort, all you need to do is pick item(s) off the list, select from the noted size range if it’s clothing (it can be for boys or girls, your choice), have fun shopping them drop everything off at Emmanuel in the downstairs parlor by Mon., Dec. 13.

CHRISTMAS EVE & DAY SERVICES: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need readers for the Christmas Eve and day services. If you’d like to read, please let Mother Kathy or Melissa know by Sun., Dec. 12. Services times are 5 p.m. at Emmanuel, 9 p.m. at St. Andrew’s on Christmas Eve and 10 a.m. at Emmanuel on Christmas.
ST. ANDREW’S THANK OFFERING (SATO)
Donations for the food bank located in Mt. Jackson, are due by Sunday, December 5th.
Envelopes (SATO) may be found on the social hall table.
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS AT ST. ANDREW’S
As a reminder, there is a basket in the parish hall to collect donation for the Open Table Food Pantry in Mt. Jackson. If you have any nonperishables, please drop them off for Jackie Yarnell to take over to the pantry.
SERVER SCHEDULE: ACOLYTES NEEDED
Starting in February, we’ll be including acolytes in the service schedule again. If you’d like to serve as an acolyte, please let Mother Kathy or Melissa know by Mon., Jan. 3.
The reader schedule through January is available on our website and below. If you’re not able to read as scheduled, please find a replacement and let Mother Kathy and Melissa know of the change.
COMMUNITY ADVENT SERVICES
Wednesdays throughout Advent the Woodstock Ministerium is hosting Community Advent Services at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock at 12 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 22.
As long as technology permits, the services are to be streamed live. More information on that is coming and will be available on our website.
BIBLE STUDY WEDNESDAY
The Bible study group with the Episcopal churches in our region has started after summer break. It is from 7 to 8 p.m. online via Zoom. every Wednesday. You’re welcome to attend even if you haven’t before or if you miss a few weeks. You can jump in any Wednesday without any problem.
