Community Lenten Services

Community Lenten Services are at Woodstock UMC every Tuesday during Lent (March 3 through April 7). Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with the service at noon. Mother Kathy is preaching and we are providing lunch for the March 24 service (soups, sandwiches and desserts). We need volunteers to bring food and to serve. Sign up sheets are in the parish hall. From the Diocese of Virginia: As the flu season continues, and amid growing concerns about the possible spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, now is a good time to remind everyone about best practices for hygiene during Eucharist and other services. Shrine Mont Summer Camps 2020

Camp registration open Shrine Mont Summer Camps 2020 are now open for registration at shrinemontcamps.net. A variety of camps are available for dates in June and July, depending on the camper’s interests and needs. Scholarships available Scholarships are available through Shrine Mont and also the Emmanuel Church Shrine Mont Scholarship Fund. Please speak with Mother Kathy for further information on a scholarship. It is important to register early as camps and scholarships fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis.
