SUNDAY SERVICES MOVING ONLINE
Every county within the Diocese of Virginia is in the red zone for new infections and transmissibility of coronavirus. The numbers in Shenandoah County reflect widespread transmission – as of Jan. 4, 7-day average of cases per 100,000 is 143.9. There is an uncontrolled spread, and the best thing, for now, is to avoid prolonged social contact.

In consultation with the Senior Wardens, we have made the difficult decision to suspend in-person worship for Jan. 2 and Jan. 9.

We will live stream worship on January 9 on Facebook Live at 10:15 a.m. It will not be on Zoom. Mother Kathy will offer Holy Eucharist with Spiritual Communion. A reader, our organist, and Mother Kathy will be physically present in the building, masked and socially distant.

We must do everything we can to protect one another and the health and life of God’s people. Of course, we want to go back to in-person worship as soon as possible. So, we will re-evaluate where we are in the week before the January 16 service.

May God’s grace abound for you in the New Year!

ANNUAL MEETINGS
St. Andrew’s Annual Meeting is Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. Emmanuel’s Annual Meeting is Jan. 22 following the 11:15 a.m. service. Right now, these are scheduled to be in person but that may change. Please check upcoming The Beckford Connections for updated information.
