Christmas Giving Tree 2019 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church
This Christmas, we partnered with counselors from Shenandoah County Public Schools to identify local children who need our help. The counselors work closely with students so are able to identify where need is the greatest.
We’ve been provided with names of kids of various ages. That way, we can help the entire family without leaving anyone with nothing under the tree.
How it works
Sunday, Nov. 17, ornaments will be available at the 8 and 11:15 a.m. services. Each ornament has a child’s name/initial, gender and age along with a gift category (toy, clothing, book, etc.) and what types of things they like. If you would like to participate, simply select an ornament and purchase one gift from that category. You’re welcome to pick multiple ornaments! Place wrapped gifts in a bag with the ornament attached, then drop off to Emmanuel by Sun., Dec. 8, so Melissa can arrange pickups.
