1980s Women of Emmanuel Christmas Recipe Book
Elizabeth Cottrell recently came across this book of recipes. It was created as a fundraiser by the women of Emmanuel back in the 1980’s. Elizabeth and Trudy Pence have estimated it to be from the mid-to-late 80s. It’s filled with delicious cookies, breads and more that were favorites of the women who shared them. Hopefully, reading through it brings back fond memories of Christmases past, those who are no longer with us and time spent enjoying good food with family…

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 226th ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE DIOCESE OF VIRGINIA (Copied directly from an email from the Diocese) For the first time in 226 years, the Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia gathered not in person, but online. More than 450 delegates attended the November 14 Convention via Zoom.
