On August 22nd, we celebrated 8 confirmations (3 from our parish!) with 135 worshippers at the Southern Shenandoah Region Service at Shrine Mont.  We want to extend a special congratulations to our confirmands Cade Belyea, Christopher Bonnet, and Lucas Garvey and a heartfelt “thank you” to Neil Fadely for sponsoring them through the confirmation process.

The confirmands (or actually, any of us attending) will never forget the ending — with about 10 minutes to go in the service, thunder rolled, lightening flashed and the heavens opened with rain.  It was a tremendous end to a powerful service.
