Beckford Parish Receives Clergy renewal Grant

Beckford Parish has been selected to receive a 2025 Clergy Renewal Grant in the amount of $59,830 from the Lilly Endowment, one of only 200 congregations nationwide chosen for this honor. The grant provides both clergy and congregation a unique opportunity for rest, reflection, and renewal—recognizing that the vitality of a parish and the well-being of its priest are deeply connected.

The grant will allow Mother Kathy to trace her father’s World War II journey through Belgium and Luxembourg, exploring the themes of memory, reconciliation, and healing. While she is away, the parish will enter its own time of renewal—deepening our spiritual life, celebrating our shared ministry, and discerning how God is calling us to live faithfully into the next season of our life together.

This grant is funded by the Lilly Endowment’s National Clergy Renewal Program, administered by Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and look forward to sharing more details in the coming months as plans take shape for 2026.
