Obituary for Joan Carol (Collins) Sarna

Joan Carol (Collins) Sarna, 77, of Maurertown, Virginia, died on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Sarna was born in Wilmington, Delaware, daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris Gardner Collins of Baltimore, Maryland. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Malcolm Leslie Sarna; two daughters, Stacey Sarna Amey (Christopher) of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and Melissa Joan Wilson (Shawn) of Hedgesville, West Virginia; and seven grandchildren; Christian, Jacob, Graeme, and Elisabeth Amey, and Carolina Grace, Carter, and Caleb Wilson.
Mrs. Sarna was an active member of her church, Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Woodstock. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Joan also enjoyed growing and marketing herbs.

Burial will be in the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Crownsville, Maryland.
