
The Columbarium at Emmanuel Episcopal Church is a place of prayerful beauty and quiet remembrance. Situated on the grounds of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Woodstock, it offers a peaceful resting place for the cremated remains of parishioners, their families, and others who share a connection with our community. The garden setting invites moments of reflection and honors the enduring bond between the living and those who have gone before us.
Created as an extension of our pastoral care, the Columbarium allows loved ones to remain close to the spiritual home that shaped their life and faith. Each niche holds two standard urns and is enclosed with an etched marble plate. Niches may be reserved in advance or at the time of need, and the clergy are available to guide families through both the practical and spiritual aspects of planning.
At the time of interment, a committal service is offered using the prayers of The Episcopal Church, commending the deceased to God’s eternal care with dignity and hope.
